Tracking Pixels and Web Beacons
Tracking pixels (also known as web beacons or clear GIFs) are tiny, invisible images embedded in web pages or emails. When a page or email is loaded, the pixel sends a request to a server, allowing us and our partners to record that the page was visited or the email was opened.
We use tracking pixels from the following providers:
- Meta (Facebook Pixel) — to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram

- Pinterest — to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Pinterest
- Google — to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Google platforms
- Trybe — to measure which creator videos and creator-led ads bring visitors to our site (served from our own subdomain, track.bootle.io)
Server-Side Tracking
We also use server-side tracking via the Meta Conversions API and the Pinterest Conversions API to provide more accurate and reliable measurement of advertising performance. This sends event data directly from our servers to Meta and Pinterest, complementing the browser-based pixels. Like the browser pixels, server-side tracking is subject to your consent and is not used when you decline marketing cookies.
Consent Requirements
These tracking technologies are subject to the same consent requirements as cookies. When you decline marketing cookies via our Cookie Preference Center, all associated tracking pixels and server-side tracking are also blocked. No marketing or advertising data is sent without your consent.
5. Targeted Advertising
Third-party advertising partners, including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Google, may use information collected via cookies and tracking pixels on our website to show you relevant advertisements on their platforms. This information may include pages you visited, products you viewed, and actions you took on our website. We do not display any third-party advertising on bootle.io itself.
